Pick a chore, something you usually just want to get out of the way before moving on to the next task. Try treating this chore as a completely new activity. For example, washing up. Turn your attention to what you can see, what you can feel, what you can smell, what you can hear. Engage all of your senses. Notice how the water flows into the sink, how the washing up bubbles shimmer in the light, how does it feel on your hands. The idea is to get immersed in the moment, discovering new experiences with a familiar activity, and to calm busy minds.
